Join Us in Making February Healthy Heart Month

During the month of February we would like you to join us in making smart decisions that will decrease your chance of heart disease and increase your quality of life. Follow these steps to achieve heart health:

#1. Attend our Heart Health Class.

Dr. Matzner will be giving you some very valuable information in this 60-minute class. He will talk about key supplements that are crucial to optimum health, bring you up-to-date on the latest pharmaceutical research, and allow you to ask questions about heart health. A heart-healthy meal will be served, and all attendees will receive a pedometer. Please sign up with the front desk to reserve your space in the class.

Thursday, February 11th at Noon and Wednesday February 24th at 6 p.m.

#2. Become more active.

Log on to www.startwalkingnow.org to start your own online activity and nutrition tracker. This website gives you access to your own walking guide. You can also receive tips, share inspiration, and keep a journal.

Turn in your log to the office between February 22nd and 26th as proof that you became more heart-conscious and you will receive a pedometer! The person who logs the most miles will be honored with a special plaque.

#3. Bring in a photo of you exercising.

Yes, that’s right! Bring in a photo of you in your workout gear. Have fun with it, pose however you wish. Or better yet, if you are going to work out before or after your appointment, let us take your picture in the office for you. We’ll develop it and post it on our workout board. Help us start the exercise revolution at Matzner Clinic.

#4. Share with a friend the benefits chiropractic can have on your heart.

See the article on the notes page to learn how chiropractic care can influence cardiovascular health. A great way to share this information with a friend is to bring them into our office. Show them why you like Matzner Clinic. Receive $25 towards supplements once they come in for a chiropractic evaluation!
