Doug Matzner

Doug Matzner   -   D.C., F.I.A.C.A.

Dr. Doug Matzner completed his pre-professional studies at Eastern Illinois University before completing five years of professional training in 1981 at the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois.

Most people are unaware of the training that goes into becoming a chiropractic physician. Prior to graduation, Dr. Matzner was trained in internal and laboratory diagnosis, orthopedics, pediatrics, toxicology, clinical nutrition, acupuncture and radiology. He also performed and read EKGs and conducted gynecologic exams.

Kara Metcalf   -   Chiropractic Physician

Hi my name is Dr. Kara Metcalf. I am a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, the fountainhead of chiropractic, which is located in Davenport, IA. I also received my Bachelor of Science Degree through Palmer College. I did the majority of my undergraduate studies at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant, IA.

Andrea has been with Matzner Chiropractic since December 2004, and has held many positions including front desk, billing specialist, and physiotherapist. In 2006, she ventured into her true passion, life coaching, and became certified as one of our Creating Wellness Coaches. She also has more than five years experience as a Certified Massage Therapist and is currently a Level II Reiki practitioner.
